Making It Home provides the infrastructure to collect, coordinate and communicate, with various area support services, creating depth and breadth of resources  needed to meet the extensive community need.

WE WORK WITH ADVOCATES HELPING NEWLY HOUSED PEOPLE

​A very important part of Making It Home are the relationships we build with our Partner Advocates. Our Partner Advocates know the needs of our clients better than anyone else and are our greatest resource. A client must be referred by a contracted partner of Making It Home in order to receive our services. Household goods are completely free of charge to our clients.

What we expect of our Partner Advocates and the Clients they serve. We ask that our Partner Advocates prepare their clients for what to expect when working with Making It Home. Making It Home will help provide essential items for those just starting out, but this will never fill the complete needs of the clients.  Managing the expectations and ensuring that the experience is positive and supportive is our goal. We know this will help build a more stable home environment for individuals and families.
